Botanist and plant pathologist, Dr. Kneebone served as Assistant Professor of Botany (1950-1953) and Director of the Mushroom Research Center (1953-1978), Pennsylvania State University; Chairman of the International Society for Mushroom Science; and was important in many national growers' associations.
